Moving across from living and showing on schedule in Paris, Sharon Wauchob had limited knowledge of the London industry in terms of logistics.
BOUM consulted on all aspects, including scheduling, press, casting and styling, in addition to our creative, venue and production services. Purposefully considering the label's ability to give lingerie-inspired pieces a streetwear touch, a venue pointing to the delicate detail of lacework and inveterate structures of outerwear was essential.
And so, the centuries-old Saint Cyprian's Church was secured — so fitting, it would become home to the label's shows for seasons to follow. We honoured the beauty of the venue by listening to the existing design codes of the church and built a discrete but efficacious show space within it.
Additionally, we developed a brand partnership with the label, designing a capsule collection of jewellery with iconic haute jeweller Faberge. Altogether, Sharon Wauchob's entry into the London schedule was widely praised; Vogue wrote that it "energised" the label, while WGSN had it high on their 'Most Talked About' list.
